Jake Scolding
EU Project Support Officer
Jake Scolding completed his degree in Marine Biology from the University of Wales, Bangor in 2005 and subsequent MSc in Shellfish Biology, Culture and Fisheries in 2007.
Since graduating Jake has worked as a research technician at the National Lobster Hatchery (NLH) and the Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research at Swansea University. Over the years, Jake has worked on a variety of projects including the effects of ocean acidification on the early life stages of marine species and developing culture techniques for crustaceans and finfish. More recently Jake has been overseeing the research programme at the NLH as Project Manager and has now joined the University of Exeter SEACHANGE Team.
As EU Project Support Officer, Jake is supporting the day-to-day coordination and management of the project. He will act as the administrative point of contact internally and externally and collaborate across partners to support the coordination of research fieldwork, annual meetings and dissemination activities.
